- Applicants must:
- Choose which campus they attend or wish to attend.
- Identify which nursing program (LPN, RN, BSN or MSN) to apply the scholarship.
- Answer the question: “What do you love about nursing?” in about 500 words.
- Agree to the scholarship content rules.
- Give permission for entry and photo to be used in ECPI promotion.
- Eligibility for entry requires participants to register or possess an existing Gmail account.
- Eligibility – Everyone is eligible to apply, unless they are an ECPI University full-time employee, part-time employee, or contractor. Any temporary workers employed by ECPI University such as tutors, front desk receptionists, students hired under the Federal Work Study Program, etc. are still eligible to enter.
- Sponsorship – ECPI University will be funding and administering this contest. Address – 5555 Greenwich Rd, Virginia Beach, VA 23462.
- Agreement to Rules – By entering this content, applicants agree to the official rules listed here and agree to abide by the decisions of ECPI University’s administration of this contest. ECPI University reserves the right to refuse, withdraw, or disqualify applicants at its discretion. Contest participants agree to accept the decisions of ECPI University as final and binding.
- Entry Period - – The contest promotion period will be April 1st 2025 12:01 a.m. through April 18, 2025 at 11:59 p.m Eastern Standard Time, UTC -5:00.
- How to Enter – Applicants must submit the requirements outlined in Rule #1. Only one entry per person is allowed. No purchase is required to enter the contest.
- Prizes – Winners will receive a $2,000 scholarship that can only be applied to the applicant’s tuition charges incurred by an ECPI University nursing program. Prizes are non-transferable. Prizes may be substituted at the sole discretion of ECPI University. Acceptance of the scholarship grants ECPI University the right to the winner’s entry, name, and photo and likeness for advertising, promotion, and trade without further compensation or remuneration unless prohibited by law. ECPI University is required by law for tax purposes to collect the winners’ social security numbers when they apply their scholarship to the ECPI University nursing program. Scholarship winners must use the scholarship within one year of winning (specifically it expires on May 31st, 2026 at 5:00pm EST, UTC -5) or it will expire and may no longer be applied. All scholarship winners must be able to pass all ECPI University admissions standards for the program of their choice.
- Selection and Notification of the Winner – Each scholarship will be chosen by a select committee of ECPI University faculty and staff. Finalists will be posted on ECPI University’s marketing materials. Notification of the winners will be via the email address and phone number that is provided to ECPI University at the time of participation of the contest. ECPI University is not liable for the winner’s failure to receive notification of winning if he or she provided a wrong email address or if their email security settings caused the notification email to go into a spam or junk folder.
- Limitation of Liability - Participant’s entry into this contest constitutes his or her agreement to release and hold harmless the ECPI University and its subsidiaries, affiliates, employees, etc., against all claims of liability, illness, injury, death, loss, etc., that occurs directly or indirectly from participation in the contest or use/misuse of the awarded prize.
- Affirmation of Acceptance – By entering the contest, the entrant has affirmatively reviewed, accepted, and agreed to all rules listed here.
